    Scripture Text: Numbers 11:19-20

Pastor Twymon continues his message from last week in Numbers 11. Here we find Israel in the wilderness complaining about God's provision of manna from heaven.  Not only had they rejected the bread from heaven, they rejected God.  Their ungratefulness eventually led to God's judgement on the nation and many perished.

Fast forward to today, and we see that the attitude of the world is not much different from the Israelites.  Many have rejected the provision of salvation that God has provided in Jesus Christ, the true Bread from heaven.  The consequences for rejecting God is still dire and it behooves us to heed God's warning.  Enjoy the message!

Tune in as Pastor Twymon teaches that our fight is not against the people around us.  Rather, our fight is against Satan, this world's system, and the flesh.  It is important to make sure you are well equipped with the whole armor of God so you can withstand the fiery darts of the enemy. Stand with confidence knowing that God already stands as the ultimate victor.

The Thanksgiving holiday season commemorates a time of gratitude especially towards God. Yet, as Christians, we are mindful to treat every day as a day of thanksgiving. While we are to be thankful to God for all things in our lives, we are most grateful for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Tune in as Pastor Twymon gives us food for thought when it comes to Thanksgiving and our attitude of gratitude. As you reflect on your life, make sure you take time to tell God "thank you".  More importantly, make sure to follow up your sentiment with a life that reflects gratefulness.

    Scripture Text: Luke 19: 1-6

To go "out on a limb" for something or someone signifies that you are putting yourself in a vulnerable or risky position. That is exactly what Jesus did for us by going to the cross for our sins. Jesus endured the cross for our sake even though He would suffer much pain and persecution.

In today's sermon, Pastor Twymon challenges us to examine our faith as believers.  Are you willing to go out on a limb for Jesus? Are you willing to stand up for the cause of Christ? One thing is for sure, whatever risk is associated with standing for Christ will not compare to the reward we will receive in heaven.

Why are we here? What is our purpose for living? Many have ventured through life in search for answers to these questions. Pastor Twymon invites us to take a different look at these questions.

We must look at this life, with the afterlife in mind. What we do on this earth is preparation for our final destination.

Where will you spend eternity?  As you listen, please keep in mind that a life without Christ... is a life wasted.

    Scripture Text: 2 Kings 6: 15-17

As believers, we can trust in God's ability to keep us in times of trouble. As we trust in Him, we can look past the problems in our lives and focus on His great and precious promises. Operating in this type of faith allows us to put away worry and live a life of good works to the glory of God.

It is our prayer that this message from Pastor Twymon encourages you to put your trust in God. Jesus looked beyond the hardship of the cross to see our need for salvation. All you need to do is open your heart to His commands and then open your eyes to His provision.

    Scripture Text: Matthew 12: 43-45

In the previous sermon, "Building On a Sure Foundation", we are called to examine the foundation on which we build our lives. That foundation is none other than the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  Now that the foundation is secure, we must be careful to build according to the blueprint of God's Word.  So naturally Pastor Twymon begins this sermon with a poignant question... How is your house? This is a question we must all ask ourselves as believers.  If you are unsure, tune in to this message and get a clearer picture.

    Scripture Text: 1 Corinthians 3:9-16

Every structure you see, whether it be a house or tall skyscraper, is constructed on a foundation beneath the ground. The strength of the building lies in its foundation because it holds the structure above it and keeps it upright. If the foundation is not well constructed, the building will soon begin to crack and fall apart.  This foundation principle also applies in the life of the believer.

In today's message, Pastor Twymon eloquently illustrates the parallel of a sure foundation in the life of the believer. In order to stand firm and upright, we need our lives built on the truth of Jesus Christ.  As you listen, take inventory of yourself and consider the foundation you have built for your life. If not Christ, you are surely on sinking sand!

This Is Only A Test (2020)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Genesis 22: 1-8

In today's message Pastor Twymon calls on the historical account of Abraham. Abraham's love and obedience to God brought him to a place where he would be asked to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. Fortunately, Isaac's life was spared as God provided a ram for the sacrifice. As it turns out, it was a test of Abraham's faith.

Much of what has transpired in 2020 has been a test of faith for many believers. It is in the test that God makes provision for us, just as he did for Abraham. Remember, as you tune in, not to lose hope and remain steadfast in the Lord. The reward in the end will be worth it.
