    A water pitcher, a basin and a towel... 3 items that do not inherently have much meaning. However, Jesus used these seemingly insignificant items to teach his disciples a very powerful lesson. Imagine the Savior of the world kneeling down and washing the feet of his followers! No doubt this grabbed their undivided attention as he performed such a lowly task.

    Don't let the title throw you off... That question was worded that way for a purpose.  Instead of saying "What is your problem?",  sometimes there is more impact when you hear "What the problem is?".  In some urban areas, you are quicker to get a response from the latter phrasing.

    In all seriousness, this a a very valid question. For many of us who confess to be followers of Christ, why do we have such a difficult time following His commandments? The Bible makes it very plain throughout scripture that if we love God, we ought to keep His commandments.

    Much in the same way, we as Christians are soldiers who are engaged in spiritual warfare against the enemies of Christ. Those enemies are the world, the devil and the flesh.

    The Bible clearly tells us put on the armor of God and to stand our ground. However, there are many that have fallen by the wayside.

So much so that she vowed if God would bless her with a son, that she would dedicate her child back to Him. The result of Hannah's vow and dedication to God was Samuel, one of the great prophets of the Bible.
