    We Must Praise (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Psalm 34: 1-3

Praise is an essential part of the believer's life. This especially rings true in the life of David, who writes this particular passage while on the run as a fugitive in his own country. Despite his dire circumstances, he never loses sight of his need to praise the Almighty God.

We invite you to listen closely to this message as Pastor Twymon takes us on a journey through time. His vivid recollection of past memories will illustrate God's goodness through the years. Regardless of circumstance, it is important to remember... WE MUST PRAISE.

    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20

Sexual sin has been an been an issue in our world since the creation of mankind. Many of these sins are veiled with more sophisticated names (i.e. sex trafficking).  However, the origin of depravity still remains the same. Worse yet, our churches are negatively impacted because of sexual sin.

In this sermon, Pastor Twymon takes us back to the early church in Corinth who struggled with the issue of sexual immorality.  It is important for us, as Christians, to remember that our bodies belong to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. We are no longer our own, but we have been bought with a price.

The Burden, The Battle and The Blessing (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Joshua 8: 13-14

In this message, we hear the story of Achan and his disobedience to God. His greed and ultimate disobedience was the cause the Israel's defeat at Ai. If Achan had just waited on the Lord's plan, he would have received more than what he had stolen.

The message applies to us today. Instead of consulting with God, we take matters into our own hands and end up straying from God's plan. The good news is that God is able to bring victory to our lives in spite of our disobedience. The key, however, is we must repent. As you listen to this sermon, remember to leave the burden of sin and follow God's battle plan to reap the benefit of His blessing!

Right Conduct In a Wrong World – Pt. 4 (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Romans 12: 17-21

In the final installment of this series, Pastor Twymon reminds us that proper Christian conduct involves renewing our minds daily. We must be intentional about breaking away from the pattern of this world.  This is especially true when it comes to retaliation toward others. Our goal, when wronged, should not be to get even, but this is an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in our lives.

It is our prayer that this series of messages is a blessing and help to you.  The changing power of God makes us new creations, and it is only fitting that we conduct ourselves in alignment with God's Word.  Our right conduct is the conduit in which we share the loving message of Jesus Christ to the lives of unbelievers.

Right Conduct In A Wrong World – Pt. 3 (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Romans 12: 9-16

Have you ever been to a church that seems unfriendly?  Or have you been to church where the body of believers seem generally unhappy and unloving towards each other?

In the third installment of this series, Pastor Twymon addresses Christian conduct as it pertains to love for each other.  From our youth, our minds have been shaped by the world's take on love.  This diluted view of love has negatively impacted the church and how we treat each other.  We, as believers, must break away from the world's view and love the way that God commands. True love is demonstrated by the example God gave us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Right Conduct In A Wrong World – Pt. 2 (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Romans 12:3-8

Spiritual gifts are tools to help build up the body of Christ. However, some who are blessed with gifts sometimes think more of themselves than they should. Right conduct includes having the right perspective of ourselves and others no matter what gifts we demonstrate in the church.

Enjoy this powerful message from Pastor Twymon as he expounds on Christian conduct. We pray that this message will be a blessing and encourage you.  All gifts, great or small, come from the Most High God!

What does the Bible say about how Christians should conduct themselves in public and private settings? Is there a "Code of Conduct" we should be following and is it clearly outlined in scripture?

Tune as Pastor Twymon lays the foundation for Christian conduct in the first installment of this powerful series. The construct of the Christian life isn't based on a subset of rules, but there are spiritual guidelines that should frame our lives in a way that is pleasing to God.

Ahab, one of the most wicked kings of ancient Israel, was married to a wicked woman named Jezebel. Her influence led King Ahab and the Israelite nation into evil acts against God. This influence ultimately led to God's judgement and their subsequent demise.

Is there anyone in your life that can influence you the way that Jezebel did Ahab? If so, you are in a very dangerous situation.

Tune in to this insightful message from Pastor Twymon as he imparts wisdom on how to deal with life's "Jezebels".

    I Never Knew You (2019)
    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: Matthew 7: 21-23

In this chapter of Matthew, Jesus teaches that a tree is known by the fruit it bears. This same principle holds true for those who profess to be Christians. We must show the fruit of the Spirit in our own lives. If you aren't showing signs of bearing this fruit, you must ask the more important question: "Am I really a Christian?".   Unfortunately, their are many who look like Christians but have not truly given their lives to Christ.

Tune in to this very powerful message as Pastor Twymon warns us to take a self-inventory of our faith and beliefs.  The one thing you don't want to hear God say is "I never knew you"... Take heed and examine yourself before it's too late.

    Series: CDT Sermons

    Scripture Text: 2 Timothy 1: 1-5

Paul writes to his son in the ministry, Timothy, about the influential faith of of his grandmother and mother. Their faith, no doubt, played an integral role in the development of Timothy's faith. This rings true in our lives as well. The mother plays an important role in the spiritual development of her children.

As you tune in, you will hear Pastor Twymon expound on the influence of a faithful mother in the home and the church. A faithful mother is a true gift from God.
