    Scripture Text: Matthew 2: 10-12

In this message, Pastor Twymon, brings us to the Magi's visit to Jesus in Bethlehem.  The route they took to get to Jesus would not be the same route they took to return home. This change in direction is in response to the threat of King Herod who wanted to kill baby Jesus.

From a spiritual context, a true encounter with Jesus Christ has the power to change the very direction our lives.  However, we must first be drawn by the power of God.

    Scripture Text: 1 Peter 3:8-15

Have you ever been around Christians who never seem to have any joy? It makes you wonder where is the joy of Jesus in their lives. There should be a undeniable joy when it comes to surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That joy would no doubt have a indelible impact on others around us. It should be our goal as Christians to live lives that would touch others. So much so, that they should want to ask "what must I do to be saved?".

    Scripture Text: 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20

Sexual sin has been an been an issue in our world since the creation of mankind. Many of these sins are veiled with more sophisticated names (i.e. sex trafficking).  However, the origin of depravity still remains the same. Worse yet, our churches are negatively impacted because of sexual sin.

In this sermon, Pastor Twymon takes us back to the early church in Corinth who struggled with the issue of sexual immorality.  It is important for us, as Christians, to remember that our bodies belong to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. We are no longer our own, but we have been bought with a price.
